Do you accept Medicaid?
We accept the Medicaid Waiver Program. Medicaid Waiver admissions are based on availability. If an apartment is unavailable when you would like, we will keep your name on a wait list and contact you as soon as one becomes available.

How long do you stay on the waiting list?
The waiting list will vary throughout the year. Wait times can range from as little as one week up to one year. Your name will remain on the waiting list as long as you have a need.

Are meals provided?
Yes. We are a licensed Assisted Living community that provides three meals daily and snacks upon request.

Do you provide laundry and housekeeping services?
Yes. Laundry and housekeeping services are provided once per week and included in the base rent. Additional laundry and housekeeping services can be arranged for an extra charge.

Do you provide transportation?
We provide scheduled transportation outings for shopping and grocery trips. Our staff will assist you in scheduling transportation services covered by your insurance company for other needs.

Do you have an activities program?
Yes! Our Life Enrichment Program offers a wide variety of daily happenings. You may choose as little or as much as you wish to attend. For those who wish a more relaxed lifestyle, one on one socialization with a staff member can be arranged.

Do you provide private apartments?
Yes, we offer both semi-private and private apartments. Each apartment has its own private bathroom.

Do you provide 24-hour staff?
Yes. Our Resident and/or Medications Assistants are available 24-hours per day, 7 days per week.

Are you a licensed community?
Yes. Wood Ridge holds an Assisted Living license issued by the state of Indiana.

How large is your community?
Wood Ridge has a capacity of 69 unit apartments.

Are pets allowed?
Yes! At Wood Ridge, we believe pets are great therapy! Cats, small dogs, and birds are approved and allowed on an individual basis. Residents must be able to properly care for the animal as our staff will not be able to provide pet services. A monthly pet fee will be applied to house the pet.
